When Momentum took its Estate Provider Benefit (EPB) offering into the market, I led the team that turned a simple product launch – and a (very) tight budget – into an opportunity to not only spark much-needed conversations about death, but also prompt clients to be active designers of their end-of-life experience and help their families navigate it.

Snippets from Chapter 1 of the Toolkit for Life After Death

In the context of COVID-19, we developed a (digital) Toolkit for Life After Death, which featured short stories, actionable tips, links to key tools and products offered by Momentum, and even a glossary of important estate planning terms and jargon. We also pitched and secured (amongst others) a series of conversations on KFM, all centred around the financial cost of death, the steps ordinary South Africans can take to ensure their home goes to their families after death, and the importance of having an executable Will. Our PR efforts resulted in over R1.3 mil worth of traditional and social media coverage.
