Was the go-to publicist for Cape Town entertainment talent.

Freelance Publicist (2011 - 2016)

Music and entertainment publicity was my first love. As a young PR professional, working in this space, while also having full-time jobs, helped me hone my creative storytelling and pitching abilities, as well as build a strong media and influencer network that would ultimately get me a seat at the table of the projects that launched my boutique PR agency. It was also among the most rewarding work I’ve done, as every brand collab, piece of coverage, and event invitation landed was helping carve a public persona and build the careers of some very talented people, whom I continue to root for today.

In my time as a freelance entertainment publicist in Cape Town, the talent I represented landed partnerships with the likes of Vodacom and Cotton On, were featured in leading mag and newspaper titles, and were regulars on Expresso, Hectic Nine-9, and more.

Chad Saaiman, the first ever client in my freelance portfolio, graced the pages of titles from True Love to Marie Claire, was named one of SA’s best dressed men by GQ, made it onto Destiny Man’s list of SA’s most remarkable men under 40, and landed gigs alongside the likes of AKA, Micasa, and Tevin Campbell, during the time we worked together.
